HMD Reportedly Delays Nokia 8 Android Pie Update

No doubt, the Finnish company, Nokia, has shown such a tremendous come back by launching its high-end smartphones. Previously, HMD Global has said that All Nokia Smartphones will Get Android P Soon. Keeping its promise, Nokia had introduced Android Pie in many of its smartphones. However now, HMD Global is Reportedly Delaying Nokia 8 Android Pie Update. All Nokia 8 users now have to wait more to get the update.

Nokia 8 Android Pie Update is Delayed

According to some reports, the main reason to delay the update is that Nokia has just launched the Nokia 8.1. Just to increase the sale of the newly launched smartphone, the company has delayed the Nokia 8 Android Pie update. According to some sources, Nokia 8 will not get the Android Pie update till the early January.

The newly launched Nokia 8.1 will have a 6.18” PureDisplay IPS LCD with 1080p+ resolution. The notch in the screen houses the 20MP selfie camera. To take photos more beautifully, the phone has dual cameras – 12+13MP on the back. The main module uses the 12MP sensor (1/2.55”, 1.4µm pixels) and it sports Zeiss optics (with Optical Image Stabilization). The 13MP module is just a depth sensor.

Moreover,  Nokia 8.1 comes with Snapdragon 710 chipset with 4GB of RAM. The phone also has 64GB of storage. Users can also expand the memory by using a microSD. This is an Android One phone currently running Pie. The phone is available in Blue / Silver, Steel / Copper, and Iron / Steel.
