Nokia 8110 Banana Phone is Set to Go on Sale in Asia

The phone with appealing looks from the Matrix movie is getting ready to land in Asia soon. HMD Global has announced that it is bringing back the Nokia 8110 Banana feature phone at Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress. Nokia’s slider phone, got popularity when it was appeared in “The Matrix”.


Nokia 8110 Banana will go on sale in Asia at the end of May. The Nokia 8110 will first available for sale in Singapore and Vietnam for S$109 (or about $80). The slider phone Nokia 8110 Banana will be available in two colors, black and yellow. Soon it will be available globally as well.

Nokia 8110 Banana Phone will Soon be Available in Asia

The phone will come with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a two-megapixel rear-facing camera. Users will again get an experience of Snake game but with an upgraded and modernized version. The power house carries a 25 days of battery standby.

The Nokia 8110 Banana phone is powered by a Qualcomm 205 chip, with 512MB RAM.

The phone will have much of the original phone’s design. However, it will now come packing 4G LTE. In addition Nokia 8110 Banana will come with trendy apps like Google Maps, Facebook and Twitter.

Nokia is trying to drive the users back in to the past but with the modernization. let’s hope the users will enjoy the usage of Nokia 8110 Banana.
