Nokia holds App Developer Workshop in Karachi

Information Technology community is well aware that any product that is developed has to have the ability to be accessed through a mobile device. Now-a-days it’s very important to be updated with technology because of cut-throat competition.

Many famous companies are setting up in-house training facilities and are spending many hours trying to bring their teams up to speed on the latest technologies. Some universities are beginning to provide additional courses on Mobile Application development to serve the needs of the industry and to make their graduates more employable.

Nokia Pakistan has conducted a Nokia Developers’ Workshop at University of Karachi in collaboration with a local service provider. This workshop aimed at providing students an insight into the world of mobile app development and the demand of apps in the local market in future. The workshop focused on teaching app development skills for the Nokia S40 Full Touch devices.

Syed Faraz Ahmed senior Engagement Manager has shared the knowledge to students and explained them the S40 background. He also provided students with hands-on training on the SDK LWUIT 2.0 available to work on mobile apps for S40 Full Touch platform.
