Xiaomi has revealed the Redmi Note 8 Pro a few months ago. At the time of launch the company has revealed the phone with 128GB storage variant. Now, Xiaomi has announced a new variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The new variant will have 256 GB of onboard storage.

As far as the other specs are concerned, these are identical to the regular ones. It comes in Fritillaria White, Jade Green, and Electro-optic Ash.
The Redmi 8 Pro has the 64 MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 camera, Helio G90T chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery. The phone has 6.53-inch FHD+ panel with HDR support. There is a notch for the 20MP selfie camera to take beautiful selfies. There is a quad-camera setup on the back and fingerprint reader stacked horizontally.
The big star here is the 64MP main shooter. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor and a dedicated 2MP macro lens with 2cm focus distance capabilities.
The new memory configuration will be available in the Chinese market. There is no word when it will be available in other markets. The phone will cost around $270 for the regular 8GB/128GB configuration.
