Nothing is gearing up to launch its new Phone (3a) series on March 4, and rumours have been circulating about the lineup. Reports suggest that the series will include two models—the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. While both smartphones share many similarities, one key difference sets them apart.

Now, fresh leaks have revealed detailed specifications for both devices, giving us a clearer picture of what to expect.

Common Features in the Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro

Both models in the Phone (3a) series will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, ensuring a balance between performance and efficiency. The devices will also feature a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals and vibrant colours.

In terms of durability, both smartphones are expected to come with an IP64 rating, making them resistant to dust and light water splashes. Additionally, they will pack a 5,000 mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting performance throughout the day.

On the camera front, both the Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro will sport a 50 MP primary camera and an 8 MP ultrawide lens, making them suitable for capturing detailed and wide-angle shots.

The Key Difference: Telephoto Camera

The main difference between the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro lies in the third rear camera—marking the first time that Nothing is introducing a triple-camera setup on its smartphones.

• The Phone (3a) will come with a 2x telephoto lens, offering optical zoom capabilities for better portrait and zoomed-in shots.
• The Phone (3a) Pro, on the other hand, will feature a more advanced 3x optical zoom telephoto camera, using Sony’s Lytia LYT-600 1/1.95″ type sensor—the same sensor seen in the Realme 13 Pro+. This means the Pro model will deliver better zoom performance and improved clarity for distant subjects.

Pricing and Expected Availability

Both models will be similar in size to the previously launched Nothing Phone (2a).

When it comes to pricing, the Nothing Phone (3a) will cost around PKR 80,000 (approximately $288), while the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro could cost around PKR 95,000 (about $345).
