Now Ask a Question in Instagram Stories (Updated July 11)

Recently, the Facebook-owned app has rolled out IGTV app and an another new feature that allows users to add music to Stories. However, it seems like that Instagram wants to amuse the users with more and more new features and this could be the reason that this social media platform is planning to release new interesting feature known as “Ask a Question”.

Android Police has reported that a new feature has surfaced on the web, though it has not been announced yet. This new feature is again related to the Stories. This feature allows the users to tag or ask a question directly on the story. Moreover, users can give a response with the text tab which is present below the question. Users can send a direct message to another user’s story while watching.

Now Users can Ask a Question in Instagram Stories

It seems that this new feature will work like an already existing feature where a user can conduct polls (yes/no) and emoji sliders on their stories. The new feature “Ask a Question” is expected to be in the same category.

Instagram Stories are getting more popular day by day among users. Recently, the company has announced that it’s stories hit over 400 million daily users. However, it is not confirmed yet that whether the answers to that questions in Stories will show up as a direct message or in some other new method.

Now the Instagram has introduced a new twist on polling with the questions sticker. With the questions sticker users can encourage story viewers to ask them questions, which can be answered publicly in a subsequent story post.

The questions sticker feature is available in the sticker drawer. You have to simply tap it, type out a prompt, and place it on your post
