The photo-sharing app, Instagram keeps on launching new features like other tech giants however some features are launched for social good. Now Instagram users will be able to donate through stories. This feature is somewhat the same to Facebook birthday fundraisers. Donate Through Stickers in Instagram Stories feature was in rumors in late February so finally, it has made its way to the market. All the tech apps keep on launching new features to facilitate their users. Sometimes some features are launched for a really good purpose which surely wins hearts.

While making a story post, an Instagram user can select a donation sticker from the menu add-ons. The sticker will ask you for a donation to your chosen organization. In this way, the viewer will be able to donate by directly clicking on the post. The person who is donating needs to stay on your story while making a donation. When they are completed/done with a donation, the sticker will be updated as donated.

The social media giants promise that all the money brought in through a sticker goes to a non-profit organization.

In 2018, Instagram also introduced a shoppable sticker that allows users to shop for items shown in Stories. On Wednesday, Instagram also confirmed the bug and informed via Twitter that the company is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

This is not the first time that Instagram has launched a feature that is good socially. Previously Instagram New Feature was Purely Dedicated to Visually Impaired Users who previously found difficulty in using the app.
