Instagram has recently added six new superzoom effects in its In-App Stories Camera. These new effects have made the Instagram Stories more dramatic. Although the update isn’t live for everyone yet, hopefully, it will roll out soon to all users. The new Instagram Story Superzoom Effects include a heart-filled fog with cheesy music, paparazzi-like camera flashes, flames, and a big red x.
New Instagram Story Superzoom Effects Are Quite Dramatic
Superzoom is the camera feature, which is present alongside the Boomerang and other effects options in your Instagram App. It helps you to create three-second zoomed-in videos, often with dazzling sound effects and animations. The meme-worthy feature has been in the app since October last year.
Now, this feature is getting an update. The new update includes six new variants. New Instagram Story effects include a heart-filled fog with cheesy music, paparazzi-like camera flashes, flames, and a big red x. There’s also a particularly emo-looking animation called “bummer,” which features black leaves falling against a melancholy soundtrack.
The update isn’t live for everyone yet, which is typical for the new Instagram features. An Instagram spokesperson said that the new effects should roll out to everyone at some point in the future. However, he didn’t reveal the exact date of its rollout. Let’s see when will the new effects make their way to your smartphones.
