Instagram is not the first social media App to introduce this feature. For the first time this feature was launched by Facebook back in May. Yes Facebook allow friends to do live broadcasts together.

Adding people to live broadcasting is an easy process. You can add friends by pressing an icon with two smiley faces next to comment field. Now select a friend you want to broadcast with from friend list. Everything else about live Instagram videos: hearts, comments, and the option to save it to your story afterward are  the same.

Only small number are users have got this update as the company is currently testing it. The global roll out will take place in next few months.

Instagram is very active now a days and introducing new feature on and off to compete global market. Recently Instagram adds photos and video replies to stories by using Instagram stories.
