Now Tap Through Posts Instead of Scrolling with Instagram Tapping Feature

Instagram keeps on launching new features on and off for remaining in limelight. Due to this more people have shifted towards the social media sight in very less time. A few days back, Instagram made it easier for you to easily and quickly follow people you had met in life. They introduced the feature named as Nametag. Instagram Nametag feature works by showing your username on your phone in a format that allows it to be scanned by people. Recently, we came to know that Instagram is testing a new way to advance from photos i.e; by tapping through posts like we used to do on stories. Instagram Tapping Feature will be welcomed by those users who are fed up of scrolling.
This new “tapping through” messages feature is adapted to eradicate the ever tiring experience of scrolling. This new feature will also display the overall view of each post in just a tap.

This test of Now Tap Through Posts Instead of Scrolling with Instagram Tapping Feature is being carried on in Explore tab only and the company doesn’t plan to implement in the main feed. The time will tell whether this test will roll out globally or to some chunks of people.
This feature was spotted by an Instagram user Suprateek Bose who announced about the feature by sharing a screenshot on a Twitter.

This feature will let Instagram users to Explore posts quickly.  However, you will have to tap carefully as if accidentally tapping the post twice will like the post.
