Now You Can Share Stories To Limited People With Instagram Close Friends Feature

Sometimes we don’t want to share our Instagram Stories with all the people who are following us. However, in the past, there was no such option that can provide you with more tools for private sharing. Instagram has recently resolved this issue for all of you. The good part of the news is that now Instagram has introduced “Close Friends” Feature. Instagram Close Friends Feature will let you share your Insta stories to the limited number of people you want.

Instagram Close Friends Feature Is Limited To Only Stories

Back in July 2017, there had been a lot of rumors that Instagram is introducing “Favorites” feature. However, that doesn’t happen. We don’t know why it took too long for Instagram to introduce a new twist on private sharing. However, now the wait is over. Instagram has recently introduced Close Friends Feature that is limited to the stories right now. It will simply allow you to share stories with the group of people you want.

Now You Can Share Stories To Limited People With Instagram Close Friends Feature

In order to use the new feature, you have to follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Open up the Stories camera
  • Take a photo or video
  • After finishing your shot, you’ll notice a new green circle with a white star in it
  • Tap it
  • It will bring you to the close friends’ list
  • You can add people to your circle
  • Here You Go. That’s it
  • You’ll be able to share it with your close friends by tapping the green circle

After that, your close friends will see a green ring around your story at the top of the feed. It is basically a signal that a close friend has shared something more privately with you.  Instagram will also suggest friends to you while making the list. It will all be based on the people you interact with most. The good part is that the friends will never be notified that you added them to, or removed them from, your list.
