The interesting thing is that the lights out mode is different from the current dark mode. The interface of the app is now pitch black instead of dark blue. For OLED panels, this colour does a better job at power consumption.
This feature is currently available for the Alpha users. So, if you are an alpha user, you can use this feature after enabling it from the Settings and privacy > Display and sound > Dark mode appearance menu.
Dark Mode is a feature that is highly in demand. Many other social media apps like Facebook, Instagram have already launched the dark mode. Twitter is far away in this race. Although the company has introduced this feature in march but it was only available for iOS users. However, most of the users around the globe use Android phones. So, for Android users launch of this feature is quite late. But let’s see what the Twitter users have to say about it.
