OnePlus 3 & 3T Finally Get the Android Oreo- OxygenOS 5 Update


OnePlus has announced the roll put of Android Oreo for OnePLus 3 and 3T. OxygenOS 5 is the first stable Android 8.0 Oreo. OnePlus 3 and 3T users will be the first one to get the Oreo Update. OnePlus 3 & 3T Finally Get the Android Oreo- OxygenOS 5 Update

Other smartphone giants like Samsung, LG, HTC etc are still testing the beta version of their Oreo based Update. OnePlus announced that like all previous updates this will also be incremental. It means that Android Oreo update will reach small percentage of users. The company plans for broader roll-out of this update in few days.

OnePlus 3 & 3T Finally Get the Android Oreo- OxygenOS 5 Update

Two months back OnePlus released the OxygenOS 4.5.0 OTA and later a bug fix OxygenOS 4.5.1. Due to this update, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T has got 5 centric features.

The new update has upgraded the Andoird version to Oreo 8.0. It has added some exciting features like Auto-fill, Picture-in-Picture, Smart text selection, and redesigned Quick settings. The company has also added features like Parallel Apps, notification dots, and the latest app folder design to the OnePlus launcher.

New update also allows users to directly upload the photos that they have clicked to ‘Shot on OnePlus’.

If you have not received update yet, Don’t Worry! The new version of Android Oreo is released on incremental basis. Which means that it will be available for all OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users soon.
