Other exciting features are also added with the face unlock. OnePlus 5T was launched with security measure, however at the time of launch OnePlus 3T was deprived of this security feature. OnePlus 3 and 3T owners will also receive all security features with the new beta update.

Face Unlock uses the front-facing camera to identify your face and unlock your phone without a code or pattern input. It is a kind of Cheaper alternate to Apple’s Face ID. However OnePlus will unlock phone with camera software unlike Apple’s sensors.

If you have not received update yet, Don’t Worry! The new version of Android Oreo is released on incremental basis. Which means that it will be available for all OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users soon.
