Oppo A6s Launched; Expected Price & Availability in Pakistan

Oppo has launched the A6s, adding another device to its A-series lineup with a focus on battery life and durability rather than high-end performance. While the company has not officially confirmed local availability, the smartphone is expected to be introduced in Pakistan by the end of January or early February.

The Oppo A6s features a 6.75-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. Despite the entry-level pixel count, the panel supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. It also offers a peak brightness of up to 1,125 nits, which is relatively high for an LCD display in this segment.

The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs Android 15 with Oppo’s ColorOS 15 interface. The hardware is aimed at everyday usage, such as browsing, streaming, and social media, rather than graphics-intensive gaming.

Oppo has included software optimizations, including its Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine, to enhance system responsiveness. A vapor chamber cooling system is also present to help manage heat during extended usage.

A major highlight of the Oppo A6s is its 7,000 mAh battery, supported by 80 W wired fast charging. The device also carries an IP69 rating, offering protection against dust and high-pressure water exposure.

In the camera department, the phone features a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel monochrome lens, while a 16-megapixel camera handles selfies. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC support, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Oppo has not officially announced the Pakistan price. However, based on early market expectations and recent A-series launches, the Oppo A6s is expected to be priced at around PKR 40,000 if launched locally, with availability anticipated by late January or early February, subject to regulatory approvals.
