OPPO is expected to launch all-new K-series of smartphones and it seems that the OPPO K1 is the first device of the series. Many leaks and rumors about the Oppo K1 have been swirling around for many days. Today, OPPO has unwrapped its first K series smartphone in China. OPPO K1 With 25MP Selfie Snapper Debuts In China
The newly launched mid-range smartphone features a 6.4-inch 2340x1080px Super AMOLED display. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, it is powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset. There are two variants that offer 4GB and 6GB of RAM respectively.
The OPPO K1 packs a 16MP + 2MP dual camera on the back. However, it boasts a 25MP selfie camera on the front. The hardware of the OPPO K1 is enhanced by AI capabilities like scene recognition (up to 120 scenes) and AI Beauty. OPPO K1 battery size is 3,500mAh. Furthermore, the phone runs Android 8.1 under Oppo’s Color OS 5.2. Just like OPPO R17, the smartphone features the same waterdrop notch display.
When looking into the device as performance wise, the OPPO K1 managed to score 1436 points in the single-core test and 5467 points in the multi-core test. However, the single-core test is below the average score expected from a Snapdragon 660-powered smartphone but the multi-core score is quite impressive. OPPO K1 Color options are Red Mocha and Brahma Blue Star.
The Oppo K1 is now up for pre-orders in China. The OPPO K1 Price is set at CNY 1,599 (PKR 28,382) for the 4/64GB model. On the other hand, its price is CNY 1,799 (PKR 31,932) for the 6/64GB model. The shipments of the newly launched phone will start from October 19. However, there are still no words about the global availability of the phone yet.
