OPPO R17 and R17 Pro New Year Edition will Launch on December 17

OPPO has launched R17 and R17 Pro back in August. Now the company has decided to launch R17 and R17 Pro New Year Edition on December 17. OPPO has not revealed any information regarding the specs and price yet. The company will unveil all the detail at the launch event.

According to some reports, R17 and R17 Pro New Year Edition will be nothing new but a new color option. As per as the specs of the bigger phone is considered, the device features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5 percent.

Oppo R17 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform carrying an octa-core CPU running at 2.2 GHz. The Adreno 616 GPU is included. Moreover, the device is equipped with 8GB of RAM/128GB of storage space (no memory card support) and a dual-SIM slot.

On the other hand, the Oppo R17 model comes with a 6.4-inch display that sports a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top. This new smartphone comes with an artificial intelligence (AI) and with the support of dual rear camera. Oppo R17 will come with the new 10 nm process Snapdragon 670 chipset that is recently introduced. It also has octa-core CPU in a 2-6 configuration – 2x Kryo 260 cores for performance at 2 GHz and 6x Kryo 360 cores for efficiency at 1.7 GHz.
