Oppo R17 to Launch Soon

A few months back, Oppo announced two new R series Smartphones i.e; R15 and R15 Pro. According to a new leak in China, Oppo is expected to announce the successor of R15 soon. Its name would be Oppo R17 which is expected to be unveiled in China.

Oppo R17 is coming soon, might pack 10GB of RAM

According to a new leak, Oppo R17 will be launched in China next month. It means that R17 will be made official just five months after its predecessor.

Weibo has also shared an image taken at a media which was taken at a media event organized by Oppo where the upcoming R17 was teased.

While we have no information regarding the upcoming Oppo smartphone but there are some speculations on internet based on Oppo R15 specifications. Some reports suggest that R17 will ditch the notch, that was encased on its predecessor. The bezel on the top of the device will be thin to achieve a higher screen to body ration as compared to R15.

The Oppo R17 is expected to have a more powerful Snapdragon 710 SoC. The other hardware specifications are likely to be more or less similar to the R15 with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage as seen in the Realme 1 from Oppo’s sub-brand.
