Oppo Reno 16 Pro Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench; Expected Price & Launch Timeline in Pakistan

Oppo’s Reno 16 series has already made its debut in China, and attention is now turning to the global versions of the lineup. A new Geekbench listing has revealed key details about the global variant of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro, including its chipset, RAM, and software.
The listing suggests that the international Reno 16 Pro may arrive with different hardware compared to the Chinese model, a pattern often seen in Oppo’s Reno series when devices move from the home market to global regions.
The device appeared on Geekbench with the model number CPH2863, which has reportedly been linked to the Reno 16 Pro through previous certifications. While Geekbench does not directly mention the retail name, the model code strongly points toward the global Reno 16 Pro.
According to the benchmark listing, the global Oppo Reno 16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. This is an important detail because the Chinese Reno 16 Pro was launched with the more powerful Dimensity 9500s processor, while the standard Reno 16 in China used the Dimensity 8550 Super.
The use of Dimensity 8500 indicates that the global Reno 16 Pro may not match the performance level of its Chinese counterpart. However, the chipset should still offer strong mid-range performance for daily use, gaming, multitasking, and content creation.
On Geekbench, the device scored 1,575 points in single-core and 5,889 points in multi-core tests. These figures suggest a capable upper mid-range phone, though not a full flagship-level performer. The chipset appears to have a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz and is paired with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.
The Geekbench source code also points to the MediaTek MT6899 model number, further supporting the possibility that the phone is using the Dimensity 8500 platform. The listed unit comes with 12GB RAM, though Oppo may introduce more memory and storage configurations at launch.
On the software side, the global Reno 16 Pro is expected to run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. The phone has also been linked with 80W fast charging through TÜV certification, although its battery capacity has not yet been confirmed.
For users in Pakistan, the Reno series has traditionally remained an important part of Oppo’s premium mid-range lineup. If the Reno 16 Pro global variant launches internationally in the coming weeks, Pakistan could be among the markets to receive it later through Oppo’s official channel.
Expected Price and Release Timeline in Pakistan
Oppo has not yet confirmed the official launch date or price of the Reno 16 Pro for Pakistan. However, based on Oppo’s recent Reno series pricing strategy and the expected global hardware, the phone could arrive in Pakistan in the premium mid-range segment.
If launched locally, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro price in Pakistan may fall somewhere around PKR 190,000 to PKR 240,000, depending on RAM, storage, taxes, exchange rate, and official market positioning.
The Pakistan launch timeline will likely depend on the global rollout schedule. If Oppo introduces the Reno 16 Pro in international markets soon, a Pakistan release could follow within the next few months. However, the final timing will depend on Oppo Pakistan’s official launch plans.
The Reno 16 Pro global variant appears to be shaping up as a stylish upper mid-range smartphone with a capable Dimensity 8500 chipset, 12GB RAM, Android 16-based ColorOS 16, and fast charging support. While it may not carry the same flagship-grade processor as the Chinese model, it could still appeal to Pakistani buyers looking for a design-focused phone with strong performance and a refined software experience.
