OPPO RENO 2 Full Review- Worth the hype?

 

OPPO is making huge progress in evolution of their camera. They are involved in building cameras with prolific results. Another such example is their new launch in the market. The device named as OPPO RENO 2. The camera output of this device is distinctive from all other smartphones of the market. We will analyze that in the review.

So, let’s start with the design.

DESIGN:

The whole smartphone has a black illuminating outlook. The design is very much attractive and charming. It is sleek and stylish. The colors are shiny and vibrant. There is a quad camera camera on the back side of the phone. Along with a cover to protect the camera.

On the right edge, there is a new kind of green neon power button. While on the left edge, there are volume keys. On the downside corner, an audio jack, a charging port and a speaker is placed. Overall, the design of the smartphone is decent and simple.

OPPO RENO 2 has a hybrid quad rear camera. First, I will disclose the resolution of the camera and afterwards I’ll be explaining the query of hybrid camera. OPPO RENO 2 has a 16 MP front camera. The front camera is also known as Shark fin design because of its distinctiveness. This unique camera is only present in RENO series of the OPPO. Its not like other pop up cameras. Its very swift in performing its tasks. And has brilliant picture quality.
Ultimately, we can make a postulate that RENO 2 has a versatile camera.

DISPLAY:

OPPO RENO 2 has a super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16 M colors. The size of the screen is 6.5 inches. It provides a resolution of 1080*2400 pixels. For the purpose of protection, it is covered with a corning Gorilla Glass 5.

PRICE:

OPPO RENO 2 is available in PKR 79,999. It is bit expensive, but the features enabled can accommodate that spike.

MEMORY:

OPPO RENO 2 has a 256 GB built in storage space. The RAM installed in it has a space of 8 GB. Along with that, it can also support micro SD card up to 256 GB.

BATTERY:

OPPO RENO 2 comes with a non-removable 4000 mAh battery. A fast charger with output of V 3.0 is given along the smartphone.

OPERATING SYSTEM AND PERFORMANCE:

Oppo Reno 2 has the latest version of Android installed that is the Pie Android (9.0). Along with that it also has its own operating system known as ColorOS 6.1 that ensures better performance.

PROCESSOR:

The processor running the systems is the phone is the Octa-core, due to which the functioning of the handset will be efficient.

CONNECTIVITY:

Oppo Reno 2, like other phones of the time supports Wi-Fi (802.11), Bluetooth (5.0) and FM Radio. It also comes with the dual sim feature.

SOUND PERFORMANCE AND PORTS:

The USB converter is the Type-C which is the updated form in the new smartphones. The audio ports are also similar to the new sets with having a 3.5mm jack and loudspeaker present.

SECURITY FEATURES:

The Oppo Reno 2 has the security feature of fingerprint scanner, face unlock and phone lock.

The Oppo Reno 2 is ready to enter the market with the innovative camera. It has a price higher than its opponents, but the features seem to ensure a promising experience that may cover the high cost demand set by the company. The features that make Oppo Reno 2 a desirable product in the market truly are updated but nothing new that might make it differ from the other smartphones of Pie Android. But this costly cell phone does compensate the price when there is enhanced memory space, octa core processor and an excellent camera quality.
