It seems like OPPO is working on a second-generation Reno 2 smartphone. The device now appeared on two Chinese certifications including TENAA and 3C. Two devices with the model numbers PCKM00 and PCKT00 just passed through these certifications. We also get to know more about the phone because of these listings.
OPPO Reno 2 will have a shark fin pop-up 16 MP selfie camera
From TENAA listing, it is quite clear that both models are identical apart from the added 256GB storage option for the PCKM00 model. It means the phone will come in two variants in terms of storage. The Reno2 will come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen. Moreover, it will have a shark fin pop-up 16 MP selfie camera.
Around the back, it will have a quad-camera setup with a 48MP F/1.7 main shooter, 13MP telephoto, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor. So, the phone is suitable for those who love photography and want a phone to capture their beautiful moments.
Moreover, the phone will come with a chipset with octa-core CPU running at 2.2 GHz. Furthermore, it will have 8GB RAM and 128/256GB of storage. You can also expand the storage as well if you are not satisfied with it.
The battery capacity will be 4,000 mAh. The phone will come with ColorOS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie. The 3C listing reveals the phone will come with a 20W fast charger.
The Reno 2 measures in at 160 x 74.3 x 9.5 mm and weighs 189 grams. It will be available in black, pink, green colours. Moreover, the phone will launch on August 28th.
