Back in April, Oppo launched three new handsets dubbed as Oppo Reno, Reno 10x Zoom and Reno 5G. Today, the smartphone maker has launched a new member of the Reno Series which is named as Oppo Reno Z. It is a smartphone with toned down specs and an affordable price that got listed for reservations on Oppo’s own site as well as popular online retailer JD.com.
Oppo Reno Z Specs, Color Options & Price
The Reno Z sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. It comes with a waterdrop notch at the top that houses a 32MP selfie camera. In addition to that, the display of the handset supports HDR 10. The newly launched Reno Phone features a built-in fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the device packs a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and 5MP depth sensor around the back.
The Oppo Reno Z is powered by the MediaTek Helio P90 chipset. It comes paired with 6GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Moreover, there is also an 8GB RAM version with 128GB onboard storage. The handset runs Oppo’s custom ColorOS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie straight out of the box. In addition to all this, the smartphone features a 4035mAh battery with support for 20W VOOC 3.0 charging. Other specs include NFC and Dolby Atmos support for an enhanced listening experience. The Oppo Reno Z Color option include Night Black, Star Purple, Bead White, and Coral Orange. OPPO Reno Z price is set to be CNY 2,499 ($362/€325). Furthermore, the official sales of the handset are scheduled to begin on June 6 in China. There had been no words regarding the global availability of the handset yet. Let’s see when will it make its way to the other markets.
