The government of Pakistan has announced 50,000 scholarship cards under the Hunarmand Punjab Advanced IT and Technical Training Program. The initiative will provide free training in modern technology and technical skills to help citizens find jobs, start freelancing careers, and benefit from the growing digital economy.

Who Can Apply for the Scholarship Program?

Pakistani citizens between the ages of 15 and 50 can apply for the program. Applicants must have at least a matriculation qualification.

The government has allocated 50,000 scholarship cards across different regions. Around 25,000 cards will be given to young people from Punjab, while the remaining 25,000 will be available to applicants from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan.

Free Training in More Than 30 Fields

The program will offer free courses in more than 30 fields related to technology, digital business, and technical skills.

The courses include artificial intelligence, digital marketing, web development, graphic design, e-commerce, cybersecurity, data science, freelancing, video editing, app development, and YouTube monetization.

Participants will also be able to learn practical skills through courses such as Amazon Virtual Assistant, Shopify, Daraz Business, WordPress, React, Node.js, MERN Stack, PHP Laravel, and Python programming.

Other training options include machine learning, SEO, Google Ads, IELTS preparation, textile designing, digital embroidery, and penetration testing.

Rewards Based on Final Test Results

The program also includes performance-based rewards for participants who perform well in the final evaluation test.

Candidates who achieve 85 percent marks will be eligible for fee reimbursement. Those scoring between 86 and 88 percent will receive a solar panel.

Participants who score 89 to 91 percent will be awarded a Chromebook, while those achieving 92 to 94 percent will receive a laptop.

Candidates who secure 95 percent or higher will receive an e-bike as a reward for their performance.

The main goal of the initiative is to equip Pakistanis with skills that can help them enter the job market and earn through online platforms.

The government hopes that training in areas such as AI, programming, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and freelancing will help participants develop skills that are in demand in both local and international markets.

With free training and additional rewards for high-performing candidates, the scholarship program encourages Pakistanis to gain practical digital skills and become part of the country’s expanding digital economy.
