Pakistan to Have 5G Technology by 2020: Anusha Rahman
Anusha Rahman, State Minister for Information Technology said at “ITU-PTA Asia-Pacific Regulator’s Roundtable 2016” on Monday that Pakistanis to have complete broadband technology by the end of 2018. In this regard, the Minister informed the audience that Pakistan to Have 5G Technology by 2020.

In her inaugural session address at 3 days “Roundtable Collaborative Regulation for Smart Digital Societies”, Anusha Rahman said that soon Pakistan will become first country to adopt Over-The-Top (OTT) framework for its IT.

As far as the access to technology is concerned in far flung areas of Pakistan, the Minister states that the government is trying its best to make connectivity easy in northern areas and agencies of the country.

The Minister appreciated the efforts of entire industry who are trying their best to bring technological revolutions in the country.
The “ITU-PTA Asia-Pacific Regulator’s Roundtable 2016” has been held for the first time in Pakistan due to PTA’s efforts and it will end on 20th July, 2016.
