Pakistan To Unveil Indigenous Biometric Solutions In Cape Town

Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) owned company NADRA Technologies Limited (NTL) collaborated with the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) to develop an all-in-one indigenous kit and a new IRIS scanner. Both companies are prepping to unveil two cutting-edge indigenous biometric solutions at the upcoming ID4D (Identification for Development) Conference in Cape Town, South Africa.

The event will take place next week. NTL and NRTC will showcase their innovative All-in-One Indigenous Kit and advanced IRIS Scanner at a joint stall. The joint stall will feature live demonstrations of both solutions, underscoring their potential to revolutionize digital identity verification and management.

In Pakistan, the assembly of these state-of-the-art devices celebrates a noteworthy achievement in the country’s technological capabilities. These solutions, manufactured with pride in Pakistan, illustrate the nation’s devotion to proffering secure identity management technologies. NADRA will deploy these biometric solutions broadly in its registration centers and for eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) operations. This deployment seeks to facilitate processes, improve security, and provide efficient services to the public.

The All-in-One Indigenous Kit exhibits a noteworthy advancement in digital identity management. It is a portable, rugged device that integrates multiple biometric authentication methods, making it an all-encompassing solution for protected identity verification.
