Pakistan’s First Motorcycle Taxi Service Cargar Launches in Islamabad

After the launch of Uber and Careem in Pakistan, one more start-up Cargar has launched its services. Pakistan’s First Motorcycle Taxi Service Cargar Launches in Islamabad. The charges of each ride are Rs. 15 per kilometer. However, The service charges are Rs. 20 only.

“Cargar is an innovative start-up aiming to provide customers with smart solutions to over-charging, traffic congestion and intensifying of carbon footprints. With Cargar, you’ll experience secure, inexpensive and efficient transport which shall not only reinvigorate the road infrastructure of twin cities but also reduce civic issues,”

Cargar said on its website.

Cargar aims to launch a similar app-based platform for bookings. For now, Cargar has a taxi point at the G-9 and F-8 Kachehry Metro Stations.  To book a Cargar cab, simply visit their taxi stand at the G-9 and F-8 Kachehri Metro Stations.

CEO of Cargar  Faran Ahmed said:

Cargar aims to provide maximum safety for its customers with helmets made mandatory for all riders and passengers,”

Cargar offered free rides to the customers for the first three days after its launch in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. However, this offer is no more available. Moreover, Cargar aims to launch its services in Karachi and Lahore soon.
