Pandora Announces Instagram Stories Integration

Pandora has revealed good news for its users. The music streaming app has come up with new integration with Instagram that will facilitate user to share their Instagram stories, favourite songs or podcasts. Though Pandora is late in launching this integration as Spotify has already launched the same Instagram stories integration. Prior to this, Spotify had launched an integration with Facebook as well.

In Pandora, sharing things on Instagram has become easier and quicker than before. All you need to do it to tap share button from:” now playing screen” in the app and choose Instagram stories as the destination.

Pandora Instagram Stories Integration for sharing music and podcasts to Stories

You will get a cover art card for the music and podcast that will be generated to the Instagram story. Pandora asserts that each of these cards that you share will have a unique colour based on the music or podcast’s original cover. You will be given the ability to decorate it just according to your need.  When your friend clicks on the “Play on Pandora” button in the Instagram story, they get the overall access to the content.

This feature can be used to promote podcasts. Instagram story sharing feature is rolled out for selected users; however, the company has planned to expand it globally soon. Moreover, Instagram story sharing feature will support sharing songs, albums and playlists.
