The electronic entertainment and infotainment world started from the traditional radio. By the advent of other electronic devices like TV, DVD etc. the worth of traditional radio did not end. But when world wide web took over and age of smartphone came then the value of traditional radio started to fade and gradually diminished.

There is a slight shift again with a new app introduced both for iOS and android namely ‘pandora’. Pandora is an internet radio app that provides us with approximately all the radio stations around the world with one click. It means a person can tune a radio station of Belgium while sitting back at home in Pakistan.  So, it depends on the mood of a person. It is a customized listening experience which changes and evolves according to our own preference and mood. Like, when you will play a song in this app it will analyze your choice and genre. Then, it will provide you recommendations according to your previous search but not like other music apps. Unlike others, the recommendations provided by pandora are much more accurate and related. Like if you are searching some music of classical era, lets say the decade of 1990’s and genre is pop then recommendations provided by Pandora will be closest to that. Like if my mom plays a song of Nazia Hassan and genre is pop then pandora will not only recommend all the songs of Nazia Hassan but every pop song of that time and type.

Due to its good proximity in recommendations, it has reached 80 million users and increasing every day. Without any doubt it has revived a good tradition which has enabled many people around the world to listen to the radio of any place with just one click.
