The Pakistan International Airlines has just started online reservation for its passengers on some domestic routes. Passenger will also be able to avail Check–in facility soon. However PIA plans to further extend this service to the whole network including international flights. PIA Introduces Online Booking and Check-in Facility for Passengers.
Now PIA’s customer will be able to check–in online while sitting in homes. The online booking service will started on 12th, June,2017. This is a non stop service and passenger can book a ticket 3 hours prior the flight leaves.

PIA issued a statement yesterday and announced about this online service. They asked for customers feedback regarding this. They asked the customers to Check in through PIA website or mobile App before arriving the airport.
The online check-in facility is available on PIA website and through its mobile apps. Right now this service is initiated for domestic flights between Lahore,Islamabad and Karachi. PIA revealed that it will be implemented on all other domestic and implementation flights soon.
Passengers are requested to carry on web check in 24 hours prior a schedule departure and up to three hours before departure time. For baggage drop off they should inform the check in counter at least 45 minutes prior to departure time.
PIA is striving hard to sustain its position in Pakistan after several unavoidable situations in past. PIA is working to digitize its systems. As a part of digital transformation program, this will facilitate its customers. It will also help PIA to increase their direct sales.
