PITB Enables BISP with Technology to Monitor the Waseela-e-Taleem School
Chairman PITB, Dr. Umar Saif has announced that PITB Enables BISP with Technology to Monitor the Waseela-e-Taleem School. Waseela-e-Taleem Programme is a conditional cash transfer initiative of the Benazir Income Support Programme. This programme is funded by the UK government and run with technical assistance of World Bank.

Under this programme, the BISP is providing education to around 850,000 beneficiary children in 32 districts of the country. Moreover, these children should be of five to 12 years of age. Further, the BISP mothers receive Rs. 250 per month per child stipend with a condition of 70% attendance in schools.
Last year, BISP has received 14, 606 complains so far against fake SMS scam offering cash in the name of the organization. Such fake messages or calls are trying to trick innocent individuals. Moreover, they also give fake information that they have been selected for BISP assistance.
To effectively serve beneficiaries, PITB Launched Bio-metrically Verified Complaint and Feedback System. Now PITB Enabled BISP with Technology to Monitor the Waseela-e-Taleem School.
