PITB Launches an Online Portal to Facilitate Business Registration Process

PITB has developed a website for LCCI for registration of companies. The portal was launched yesterday at LCCI and launching ceremony was attended by Umar Saif, Chairmen PITB, Ayesha Pasha, Provincial Minister for Finance, Malik Tahir Javaid, the President LCCI among many other high order officials. PITB Launches an Online Portal to Facilitate Business Registration Process.

The online portal , launched by Punjab Information Technology Board -PITB, will facilitate the business registration process at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The portal not only ensures timely issuance of online registration certificates but it also provides a tracking mechanism for the applications thus making the process more transparent. A tag line ” Anytime, anywhere” is used which shows that this app is user friendly and can be used anytime anywhere.

Through this platform, owners will be able to submit all the documents online. A tracking mechanism is added to the portal which will keep users updates about the progress of application.

This online portal is functional in Lahore right now however PITB plans to extend it to all the districts of Punjab. Previously the manual registration time of processing an application was 17 days however it is now reduced to 2 days.

The government of Pakistan has provide a help line number 042-111-425-725 in case of any ambiguity regarding the newly launched portal.
