PM Approves Yawar Yasin as Member Tech and Ali Asghar as Member Compliance at PTA

Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasirul Mulk on Friday chaired a meeting of the Federal Cabinet at the Prime Minister’s Office. PM Approves Yawar Yasin as Member Tech and Chaudhry Ali Asghar as Member Compliance and Enforcement at PTA for a period of three months.

Back in March, The federal cabinet approved the appointment of Muhammad Naveed as Member (Finance) Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.

PTA consists of three members, namely the Member Finance, Member Technical and Member Compliance. Member Technical is usually the Chairman of the Authority. Govt. has appointed new Member Finance and appointed him as acting chairman PTA for three months. He is currently the acting Chairman of PTA. It is unclear whether Member Technical will be the new Chairman PTA or not.

In the recent meeting, The Cabinet approved the appointment of Mr. Muhammad Zareef Baloch, D&SJ, as Judge Special Court (Court of Narcotic Substances), Quetta. Terms & Conditions of appointment of Chairman, 8th Wage Board were also approved by the Cabinet.
