2019 was the year of the 48MP smartphones. From Honor to OnePlus – it seemed like that every manufacturer is looking to jump into the trend.
Xiaomi also chose not to be left behind and start launching multiple yet different devices sporting an extravagant megapixel count. One of them is the Redmi Note 7 which is the cheapest and budget-friendly.

According to the price point, Redmi Note 7 has won the specification war. It comes with a 4,000mAh battery, a glass rear, an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset, a bright 1080p screen.
For under £200 it is a steal. At present in the UK, the 3GB/32GB version of the Redmi Note 7 is available directly from Xiaomi for £179 which is around $230. Different versions of this device are also globally imported by different vendors.
Redmi Note 7 key features are a 48MP main camera which mostly takes 12MP photos. It also has a decent Snapdragon 660 chipset, No NFC, front and back are made up of glass but the sides are of glossy plastic.
It weighs 186g, it certainly isn’t a lightweight device, still due to the slim nature and light materials of the device, it isn’t that heavy in the hand and delivers a good heft that inexpensive devices can sometimes lac. It has a 6.3-inches screen with 1080 x 2340 pixels. It is good but not of great quality
the Redmi Note 7 is a great budget smartphone With great battery life, a decent camera, a good screen, and a powerful chipset. The and lack of NFC, heavy MIUI software skin prevents it from being an instant classic, however.
