The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S comes in dimension 6.32 x 2.93 x 0.33 inches and weighs 178.8 g with Corning Gorilla glass 3 front and Plastic back and frame and IP53 protection i.e. dust and splash protection with side-mounted Fingerprint scanner.
It is equipped with Mediatek Helio G95 (12 nm) chipset. The set comes with three RAM options i.e. the base model is 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and the other variants are 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The display is AMOLED, 6.43inch screen and 1080 x 2400p resolution with capacitive and multi-touch and Corning Gorilla glass 3 and P53 protection i.e. dust and splash protection.
It has quad rear cameras which are 64 MP, f/1.8, wide, PDAF, 8MP, 2MP and 2MP with LED flash, HDR, Panorama and 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, 720p@960fps video. It has quad-cameras system, but the actual action is done by only two, so it more of a dual-camera phone thus the output is average and not like its predecessor Redmi Note 10 Pro. The main 64Mp camera gives a good close up photo or even a shot in portrait mode. Low light photography is not impressive. Even when using the night mode, the pictures come out very grainy and also a really steady hand is needed to get something usable. The selfie-camera output is decent and good for social media uploads but still it isn’t something that will takes away the breath.
The set has Li-Po 5000mAh battery which comes with 33W fast charging. The battery big enough to last for more than a day with normal use and even with heavy use the battery suffices for a day.
The big battery with the big screen is a double treat as watching videos and for playing some games becomes a novel experience. The price as compared to its whole package is a bit high as in the same price some other phones with very good camera outputs are available. It is a good set for those who are not very fond taking pictures but wants to have a set that can satisfy the basic tech needs.
