PTA Engages Industry on Telecom Infrastructure Sharing Challenges

PTA and ICT Forum Pakistan, a think tank based in Islamabad is organizing a discussion session in PTA HQ on 2nd September, 2015. The discussion with industry stakeholders will focus on opportunities and challenges in Telecom Infrastructure sharing/outsourcing and how to avail this opportunity to achieve financial and technical efficiencies. 

PTA Engages Industry on Telecom Infrastructure Sharing Challenges

Growth in telecom infrastructure and provision of modern telecom services to consumers at a cost based tariff helps growth of national economy and at the same time it is important for the overall progress of Pakistan. Due to this much significance of telecom sector, ICT Forum Pakistan has taken very good initiative as it has invited concerned participants along with their team members dealing with this subject. The issue will then be discussed and compiled in the form of a report for the attention of all concerned.

The sole objective of this exercise is that tower sharing/outsourcing succeeds in Pakistan so that the telecom operators are able to concentrate on providing new and better services, which help the people and the country to prosper.
