The South Asian Network Operators Group is a non-profit forum for Data Network Operators in South Asia. SANOG was initiated to bring together operators for educational as well as co-operation. It offers a regional forum to deliberate operational issues and technologies of interest to data operators in the South Asian Region. The first SANOG Meeting was held back in January 2003 in Kathmandu.
The major objective is educational, but at the same time offers vendors an opportunity to talk to engineers about latest technology and products on the sidelines.
