PTCL CEO Danial Ritz Replaced by New Leadership ‘Rashid Naseer Khan’

The Board of Directors of Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd. (PTCL), Pakistan’s leading telecommunication and ICT services provider, have announced the appointment of  Rashid Khan as PTCL president and CEO. He succeeds Mr. Daniel Ritz who was the Chairman of PTCL since March 2, 2016.

Mr Rashid Khan was the former CEO of Ufone. He also remained the CEO and President of Mobilink for six years from July 2008 till August 2014. Moreover, he worked in Silicon Valley for almost 15 years for various international companies. There he acquired extensive working experience in the technology sector. He was also awarded patents for his inventions.

A prominent name in the telecommunication industry, Rashid Khan has held many management positions in the cellular companies among the emerging markets for the past 20 years. Mr. Rashid Khan is well-known for his tenure at Mobilink (Jazz) as he has remained the CEO and President of the company from July 2008 till August 2014. He has also served as the Managing Director and CEO of Bangalink before joining the Mobilink.

He has worked for various international companies and has vast working experience in the technology sector. Moreover, he was also awarded patents for his inventions.
