PTCL Gets International Recognition at GSMA Asia

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced that the company has  internationally recognized because of providing world class services. Its smart TV application for mobile devices and Charji Wifi service at Rawalpindi/Islamabad Metro Buses and stations got praised at international forum. This outstanding performance has nominated PTCL for the forthcoming GSMA Asia Mobile Awards to be held in Shanghai  by the end of June.

PTCL Gets International Recognition at GSMA Asia

The nominations include PTCL’s Smart TV mobile application for the ‘Best Mobile App Media, Film, TV or Video’ category, and PTCL’s Charji Metro Wifi service for the ‘Connected Lifestyle’ category.

The smart TV mobile app launched in 2015 has 150,000 users.This app has had the credit of being nominated in the Mobile World Congress awards 2016 in Barcelona for bringing exclusive content like live ad-free Cricket World Cup. Not just this the smart TV app has also facilitated i OS And Android users to watch 140+ live TV channels and up to 5,000+ hours of movies, dramas and kids content.

Similarly the Charji Metro Wifi service is providing highly innovative Wifi system on all 66 buses and 24 stations of the Metro Bus service.

On this occasion the PTCL CCO Adnan Shahid said that:

The annual GSMA Asia Mobile Awards to be held on June 29 in Shanghai, recognized the efforts of PTCL for providing connectivity, accessibility and sustainability.
