PTCL Signs MOU with Askari Bank to Facilitate Employees

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has signed a MoU with Askari Bank’s Islamic Banking Services Division for provision of Islamic Ijarah and Musharaka facilities to PTCL employees at specially designed rates.

PTCL Signs MOU with Askari Bank to Facilitate Employees. The agreement was signed by Syed Mazhar Hussain, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) PTCL and Fahd Sardar Khan, Country Head, Islamic Banking Askari Bank Limited at PTCL head office in Islamabad. Senior management from both the organizations was also present at the occasion.

Syed Mazhar Hussain, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) PTCL, said:

The collaboration will enable PTCL employees to avail Shariah compliant products within the framework of Islamic Ijarah including cars, motor bikes and Diminishing Musharaka for home financing on specially designed rates.

Fahd Sardar Khan, Country Head, Islamic Banking Askari Bank Limited termed the initiative a huge success for both the organizations and marked it as a milestone achievement in developing long term relationship with the largest telecom company in Pakistan.
