Telegram is an interesting chatting app, which provides an alternative option to Whatsapp. It is one of the famous chatting apps. But it is facing issues in Pakistan currently. Telegram Web is not accessible in the country. From last few months the app has been banned and millions of Telegram users are unable to use it. PTCL to Continue Its Ban on Telegram .

So users can send and receive the message, photos and start secure conversations with their friends.
PTCL to Continue Its Ban on Telegram
It is reported that most of the users facing the issue have confirmed that the problem is specifically related to PTCL users. However, previously people thought that PTCL might have unintentionally blocked the Telegram app.
After a huge silence, PTCL has finally revealed that the messaging services, Telegram was intentionally banned due to instruction by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. PTCL revealed the news on Twitter:
Dear Customer, As per PTA instructions Telegram Messaging Application on PTCL Network Have been blocked till further notice
It seems there is some problem with Telegram App as Iran has also blocked it. It was also notices that telegram was silently removed from iOS few days back.
May be Telegram is banned as some terrorist activities would be happening on it begin encrypted. However many people are still accessing the app in Pakistan through VPNs. Lets hope that we will be able to access Telegram without VPNs soon.
