After Islamabad, Punjab Also to have Safe Cities Project Soon. The Punjab police authorities announced that they are also going to launch modern security project for multiple cities in Punjab. This initiative will include:

• Automatic traffic management system
• Advanced 4G-LTE network
• Around 8000 surveillance cameras at public places

For this purpose, around 350 IT graduates will be inducted on merit basis. The province aims to encourage and hire more females in this project and hence empower women through technology.

After Islamabad, Punjab Also to have Safe Cities Project Soon

After the training step, on initial basis, the safe city project will be launched in six major cities of Punjab that includes Faislabad, Multan, Bhawalpur, Rawalpindi and Sarghoda.

Keeping in view the law and order situation of Pakistan, Safe City project will definitely play a very pivotal role in the security system of Punjab.
