QMobile has launched its new flagship device with the A series although QMobile has been on the market for many years everyone was waiting for their flagship series. The company is ready to face the other giant companies like Samsung and many others. The company has achieved another milestone by introducing another flagship device “QMobile Noir A1”. Let’s discuss QMobile Noir A1 Review in detail.

Unboxing:

QMobile A1 comes in the decent white retail box. The box has Qmobile logo at the top right side while the A1 is also mentioned on the box. The box has all the necessary accessories like USB Type-C cable, headphones, and charger. A part from basic accessories, the box also carries the usual user guide-book which no one of us likes to read.

Display:

QMobile A1 is bigger now with 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with ~73.1% screen to body ratio. The A1 is giving a pixel density of 480 dpi with 1080p resolutions.

The device is covered with 2.5D gorilla glass and the display is the best as compare to all previous QMobile devices. Pure colors have been used and brightness is very well-managed. Auto brightness option is also accessible which automatically adjust your brightness depends upon the current light situation.

The A1 has mostly used cool colors in its display which presents a very calm and soothing effect. The device has very smooth touch and it has scored full 10-points in it.

Design:

The QMobile A1 measures 152.3 x 75.2 x 8.2 mm that is almost same taller and thicker than QMobile other flagship devices. The weight of the device is 182 grams which make it little heavier because it carries non-removable battery Li-Ion 4140 mAh.

QMobile A1 has a home button which is centered at bottom of the smart phone.The plastic bezel is covered with the front screen with a metallic material. The upper side of the front body has the front camera, sensors, and front sensor.

The connectivity ports of A1 are present on its edges like audio jack, sim jacket and charging port. The right edge has volume key and power button whereas left one consists of sim jacket. The audio jack is present at the top edge while microUSB edge is marked on the down side.

The back side of QMobile A1 is covered with the shiny metal body. Finger print authentication is accessible on the home button, the back body has just designed the logo of QMobile. Camera lens of 13MP and LED flash light is present on the back side.

Camera:

QMobile has tried their best to provide the maximum best camera in A1 as its flagship device. The device is featured with 13MP back camera and 16MP front camera which makes the best combination for camera lovers.

The both cameras have excellent results in every way. Colors are beautifully used and features in the camera are very easy and usable. Videos can be made in full high resolutions of 1080 pixels. Let’s review the both cameras in detail.

Back Camera:

The rear camera is mechanized with 13 mega pixels and full video HD support up to 1080p. The back camera has amazing results in every sense from color schemes to brightness, everything just looks perfect. It is accessible with a flash light.

The interface of the camera is very easy to use. It is divided into three layers, upper one has adjustable settings option while below we have modes option and click the button. Video, face beauty, photo, and ultra-pixel are the modes present on the main camera screen.

The video camera has adjustable settings of Geo tagging, Anti- shaking, Microphone, scene mode, video quality and much more. Scene mode can adjust the lights automatically by providing the options of auto and night. We can adjust exposure setting manually also and white balance can also adjust with the options of cloud, day light, fluorescent and incandescent.

Ultra-pixel mode takes five times the maximum pixel HD pictures. It is specifically for camera lovers who like to focus objects and want to try their photography skills.

We have tested the QMobile A1 back camera, results are very well. Pure colors are used and intake of pictures are very well. Pictures are not noisy at all and brightness is very well-managed.

Front Camera:

The front camera is featured with 16MP and LED flash light is accessible. Multi effects window is given in which Ash gray, Sofina, Vintage and many other effects are available. These effects are for those who like to experiment with different shades of colors.

The front camera can make videos up to 1080p quality. Many different modes are available like HDR, professional, smart scene, time-lapse, panorama, macro, and many others. Ultra-pixel mode is not accessible for the front camera.

Memory:

As its flagship device so how can QMobile will do any bad choice regarding its memory section. The internal storage of QMobile A1 is 64GB which is more than enough for normal usage.

If you want to extend your memory than you can extend it up to 256GB with the help of memory card. This is high spec device so big size games and videos will not make any issue.

The QMobile A1 has another excellent feature of 4GB RAM which is considered as the best one in smartphones specification. High-resolution games even 3D games and videos have no lag or any kind of delay during running on this smart phone.

Battery:

QMobile A1 is packed with non-removable battery Li-Ion 4140 mAh which is present inside the fixed back cover. It comes with 2.0A charger which will quickly charge your device.

The device is carried with 8 cores so it will not make any issue for videos and games. High resolutions with full brightness can drain the battery quickly as well as the use of mobile data can also decrease the battery power.

Network/Connectivity:

The QMobile A1 is properly equipped with every connectivity. It supports all the bands of Pakistan in 3G and 4G connectivity. The speed limit over LTE network or 3G network is cat.4 450/50 Mbps.

The USB type for charging and data transfer is miroUSB v2.0, same like most of the other smart phones.  Wi-Fi works at v802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth is 4.0.

We have dual sim option available in the device. The sim jacket has the option of Nano and micro sim, if we want to use memory card then we can use only one sim as another sim place will work as a memory card.

Interface:

The QMobile A1 runs a latest Android version 7.0(Nougat). The device has a beautiful display and everything is going well with screen size and features.

The home button has two purposes; one its home button and second its fingerprint reader. The fingerprint reader is quick and accurate, it recognizes a finger under a second which is considered as fast one. You just have to place your finger at home button and it will read it in seconds.

The interface is same as like QMobile other devices only a few features have been changed. It doesn’t have application drawer just a home slider is available for applications. You have to swipe left and right to change the slider and select your desired application.

They should have search bar application slider via which we could directly access the application, it would be difficult when we will have too many applications.

The Quick settings are accessible by swiping up from bottom side whereas Notification area can access from the top side. The screen brightness slider and extreme power saving mode are also available in quick settings. Power saving mode can save your battery by giving access to only a few applications.

Theme Park is featured in this device. It has a collection of themes, wallpapers, dynamic, and clock. You can download your favorite themes and wallpapers and set them on your display screen.

Processor:

QMobile A1 is mechanized with an advanced 2.0GHz processor which is based on the architecture of ARM-Cortex A53. The chipset of Media Tek MT6755V/C is featured which also supports 1080p Full HD displays, along with Full HD video recording and playback.

The device has no hanging issue at all because it consists of 4GB RAM. QMobile A1 gets heat up while using the camera module that might be the issue of handling dual cameras. That was the reason that we were afraid of. Still, it’s not a big issue that affects the smartphones’ performance.

Antutu Bench Marking:

The QMobile A1 is tested by Antutu Bench marking to check its efficiency. The device has scored 49721 points which ranked it below Samsung note 5 and Samsung j7 Pro but overall it is the satisfactory score.

Vellamo Bench Marking:

We have tested the flagship device of QMobile by Vellamo benchmark. It is series of test which is used to check device performance in the field of metal test, multi- core test, and single core test. The device has scored overall good points. The multi core has 2234, metal has 1398 and Chrome browser has 2227 points.
