QMobile is a successful brand in Pakistan and recently they have introduced their new smart phones. They are getting a good response from users and gaining good attention in market. Today we are going to discuss the another device of QMobile which is “QMobile E2”, a sibling of QMobile E1. Price of QMobile E2 in Pakistan is PKR.15,500/-. Let’s read the QMobile E2 Review in detail.

QMobile E2 is 4G enabled device with the quad-core processor of 1.25 GHz while the internal memory is 16GB and RAM is 3GB. The camera section has 13MP back camera lens and 8MP front camera lens. It runs android version 7.0 (Nougat) with the native interface. The power house has big battery of 4000 mAh and it is dual SIM supported device.

QMobile E2 Unboxing:

QMobile E2 is packed in a simple elegant rectangle box with all the necessary accessories. It has data cable, travel charger, headphones and user guide-book in its retail box. QMobile has also given its customer care book for users to get the help if they need.

Display:

QMobile E2 is 5.2 inches’ device with HD IPS capacitive touch screen and screen to body ratio is almost 71%. It supports the resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels while the density pixel is 320 dpi. The supportive pixels are enough for the clear visibility of icons and texts.

The E2 is using Mali-T720 as its Graphic processing unit (GPU) which improves its performance mainly in graphic display and a good point for 3D game lovers.

It has scored 5-points in multi-touch test which is satisfactory because most of QMobile mid-range devices scored the same points.

Design:

QMobile E2 has good shape and design and the dimensions are 147.3 x 71.3 x 8.3 mm. The weight is 164 grams and it is normal weight device because it has fixed battery of 4000 mAh. The handset is very stylish and unique because QMobile has manufactured it beautifully in golden color.

The front side of QMobile E2 has 5.2 inches’ screen which has ear piece, front camera, sensor and LED notification light at its top. E2 has main functional home key button at its down side. A dull bezel layer of golden color has covered it’s every boundary from every corner.

The edges of QMobile E2 are filled with connectivity ports. One edge has power key while another one has volume keys while at top side audio jack of 3.5 mm is working. We have microUSB connector and mic at down edge. The place of SIM and memory card are present on the edges.

Last thing in design section is back body of QMobile E2 which has very stylish patterned back body. The back camera of 13MP lens with LED flash light is present at the top left side while the logo of QMobile is marked in center. Speakers are present at the down side.

Camera:

QMobile E2 has good combination of camera lenses as it has 13MP lens for back camera and 8MP lens for front camera. Back camera can record videos in full 1080 pixels while front one can record in 720p. Let’s have a look at both cameras in detail to thoroughly examine the lenses in detail.

Back Camera:

The back camera of QMobile E2 is equipped with 13MP lens and LED flash light. It can record videos in full 1080 pixels that means it supports full HD system. The main modes are HDR, Panorama, Night, professional,  ultra-pixel, Pic Note, smart scan and some others.

We can reduce the image size option up to 5MP if we are facing memory issue. This setting is available in the settings menu which we can adjust. . Capture Mode, Countdown, guidelines, sound, Geo-tagging and many other options can be set via setting menu.

We took some images from the back camera of QMobile E2 and results are extra ordinary. Color accuracy and clarity of images are easily visible moreover quality and dynamic range is very good in day light. Low lights has also good results while you can feel a little bit noise in images if we will zoom in the picture.

Front Camera:

Front camera of QMobile E2 is loaded with 8MP lens. The Front camera with 8MP lens is dream for selfie lovers which QMobile has just fulfilled it. It can record videos in 720p quality.

The result for front camera of QMobile E2 are just remarkable because it is giving us the best selfie results as compare to all other giant devices. In day light or dark light, it is giving us perfect result. Beauty mode enhance your face beauty in terms of smoothness, slimness and brightness.

Memory:

QMobile E2 is equipped with 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM. We can say the RAM choice is so good but internal memory should be of at least 32GB so we can use it well even without memory card. Game lovers and applications freak must have to insert memory card otherwise 16GB is not enough to fulfill their requirements.

E2 has very good choice of 3GB RAM because it is enough to do powerful performance in multi-tasking. We have tested its RAM and got not delays and lags while testing it.

Battery:

QMobile E2 has non-removable big Li-ion battery of 4000 mAh that is present inside the back cover. Li-ion battery always provide less weight and great performance which we can see in E2. The handset has big battery inside it that can easily provide us 7-8 stand by hours to play with it. It has media tek chip set which also supports battery saving function so it is plus point for E2.

Although excessive usage of 4G/3G/2G , games or videos can drain the battery very quickly otherwise this battery is perfect according to all other features of E2.

Network/Connectivity:

QMobile E2 is 4G enabled device with the support of other networks also such as 3G or 2G. It supports all the bandwidths of networks in Pakistan.

E2 is carried with some other connectivity’s such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and expandable memory. Wi-Fi supports the standards of 802.11 b/g/n, dual-band, WiFi Direct and hotspot while Bluetooth version is 4.2.

It is Dual SIM enabled device with the access of expandable internal memory. The place of both these connectivity’s are present on the edge of E2.

Interface:

QMobile E2 has 5.2 inches’ screen that runs android version 7.0 (Nougat) on it. The default theme of E2 is classic theme because it has all golden touch which matches with its body color so this is new and unique thing of QMobile E2.

All other things are like previous QMobile devices. Lock screen has same simple pattern in which date and time are displayed at the top side while we can unlock it by swapping up the screen. The main screen has applications that are arranged in the form of rows and columns. The main function keys are present at the main down side while Google search bar is present above the applications. Date and time widget are resided at the top side.

It doesn’t have any applications menu just a slider bar is available to access the application. Swap the screen and see the given applications. Many bloat ware applications are given in QMobile E2 such as change themes, themes club, game loft and many others.

Google has given it’s all own applications such as chrome, gmail, maps, you tube, photos and many others. Game loft is giving us some games such as Modern combat, NOVA and real football. Facebook, Skype and Whats App are already installed so we don’t need to download them again.

Processor:

The QMobile E2 has 1.2 GHz quad-core processor that is built on the architecture of ARM Cortex-A53. It has media tek chip set MT6737M which i better than any dual-core chip set. It enhances the battery power and performance of the device.

3GB RAM is the best option for any mid-range device and we haven’t observed any kind of delays and lags while testing the device. Although heating issue has been observed while using the camera.

Antutu Bench Marking:

We have tested QMobile E2 with Antutu Bench marking to check its device and performance as compare to all its competitors. It has scored 29988 points and ranked in a satisfactory position. Multi-touch test has scored 5 points.

Vellamo Bench Marking:

Vellamo Bench marking conduct three tests which are chrome browser test, metal test and multi-core test. QMobile E2 has scored 1661 points in chrome browser test, 912 points in metal test and 1308 points in multi-core test.
