Design & Display:

QMobile Energy X2 comes with the dimensions of  142.3 x 71.4 x 9.2 mm, a 5 inch screen size with the 68.3% approx. screen to body ratio. Whereas the device weighs around 184 grams which is a little heavy but that is probably because of the 5000 mAh powerful battery inside the phone that adds up to the device.

Talking about the front design of Energy X2, we have of course an ear piece in the center. To the left side, there’s a front camera. The front side is all covered with black layers on all four edges. Whereas the three function keys are there on the very bottom.

On the right edge, the device has a volume and power buttons whereas it does not have any button or connectivity option on the left edge. Since the device has a removable back so the sim and SD card port are all inside and there is not much traffic of buttons on the outer body of the phone.

The upper edge has an audio jack with the USB port on its right side. Overall the phone is given a very neat look by not overcrowding the exterior body of the phone.

Energy X2 has a luxury metal appearance that gives a very classy look when held in hands. Lastly, we will talk about the back side of the phone. The device has a removable back with a texture that gives a look of horizontal lines all over the back.

Moreover, we have the 8 MP back camera on the top left side of the phone whereas the LED flash light towards the right side. Whereas, the speakers are placed on the bottom of the phone.

Memory:

As far as the memory is concerned, QMobile Energy X2 comes with a 16 GB ROM and a 2 GB RAM. Giving a benefit to the users as they can easily take as many pictures as they want and store a lot of data.

However, excessive storage of data will exhaust the space up. But for that, the expandable memory option is there which can be expanded up to 64 GB. So if you are a person who loves downloading videos or playing games you can take advantage from the expandable memory with the help of the SD card.

Back camera:

With all other great features, QMobile Energy X2 gives us an 8MP back camera. This 8 MP camera also features a LED flash light. The camera is however satisfactory, but it captures great pictures in low light. The camera can flexibly adjust itself to capture photos at night and produces stunning pictures.

It can record videos in 720 pixels quality. Additionally, the camera comes with some built in modes like HDR and panorama etc.

Front Camera:

Talking about the front camera it has a 5 MP result and captures amazing images in low light as well as high light. It automatically detects your face and adjusts itself accordingly. You can take benefit of this amazing camera and talk to your loved ones on Skype or take selfies anytime, anywhere you want.

Moreover, you can further beautify your pictures with the help of the face beauty feature. Also, one other amazing feature of the front camera is that it has a mode that’s called “wide selfie”, in this you can take selfies with a wider background.

Network/Connectivity

QMobile Energy X2 is a 3G supportive device so you can enjoy a faster internet speed. It also has other connectivity options like GPS, Wi-Fi and USB.

Furthermore it has convenient connection of OTG Charging Cable which is definitely a shining point of Energy X2. This amazing phone not only gives energy to itself but also to other devices with the help of OTG Charging Cable. You can connect the power point to Energy X2 and the opposite side to another phone’s USB port, this will then give power supply to the other phone.

Battery Performance:

This is definitely one of the strongest points of QMobile energy X2. The device contains a 5000 mAh long lasting battery that can last for a really long time. You can play games, watch videos and use mobile data without worrying about the battery.

Moreover, the device has a 2.0a charger that can charge the phone fully in approx. 2 hours since it does not support fast charging. However, excessive use of applications, videos or mobile data will not drain your battery quickly. The battery can last for approx. 2 days and if put on standby, then it might live for even a week, which is great.

Interface:

The phone has a 5 inch HD IPS display and runs the latest android version 6.0 marshmallow. The colors have been managed in a great way since they are all bright and therefore icons are clearly visible. Brightness, at the same time can also be managed easily. You can access the brightness adjustment level bar when you swipe the screen down.

Starting from the lock screen, no wallpapers are set by default but you can set one by going to the settings and choosing a wallpaper for the phone. The lock screen is opened when we swipe up the screen and we are directed towards the home screen.

The home screen has a Google search bar on the very top and gives you access to camera, playstore, Google, phone dialer etc. Moreover if you swipe the right side we will see that the icons are divided into equal rows and columns. Facebook, WhatsApp, Skype are some of the social media apps that are already installed in the device.

Additionally, on the very bottom you will notice a white circle icon, that gives you access to further icons. These icons are put on a white background and have very clear visibility. Even on the lowest of screen brightness, it is still possible to recognize these icons.

Once you swipe the screen downwards, you will get the option of quick settings alongside notifications. The quick settings give you access to flashlight, hotspot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and modes like airplane etc.

Processor:

QMobile Energy X2 has a 1.3 GHz Quad core processor and contains a chipset of MediaTek MT6580. This chipset is based on the architecture of ARM Cortex-A7.

Furthermore, it has a 32-bit type processor with 2 GB RAM. The device can perform multi functions at the same time without the phone being stuck.

An TuTu Benchmarking:

Antutu comprehensively tests all aspects of a device, including UX, GPU, RAM, CPU, I/O and more. Each item is individually assessed and given a score. Therefore, we ran a test in Energy X2 and got to result where the device scored 22230 points. This is not a very bad score though. On its multi-touch test, the device scored 2 points.

Vellamo Benchmarking:

In our Vellamo Benchmarking, where three tests were carried out, the device scored 1160 points in multicore test, 797 in metal test and 1433 in chrome browser test.

Conclusion:

As a concluding paragraph, I would mark this device as one of the great phones with great battery. Those who need a long lasting battery in their phones will clearly have an idea about which phone to buy. This new series will prove out to be a great success as it has all amazing features in the shape of Energy X2.
