Few months back QMobile launched a member of Noir Family that was QMobile Noir S6. This time they are going to introduce its upgraded or next version “QMobile Noir S6 Plus”. Price of QMobile Noir S6 Plus is PKR. 12,999 /-. Let’s look at the QMobile Noir S6 Plus Review in detail.

QMobile Noir S6 Plus has minor changes as compare to Noir S6 while its most prominent feature is fingerprint authentication although these both handsets contains this feature.  It has 5.5 HD IPS screen that runs android version 6.0 (Marshmallow).

The system is processed with 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor moreover RAM is 2GB and ROM is 16GB. Camera section has 8MP back camera lens and 5MP front camera lens since Noir S6 has 13MP back camera lens. It is 3G enabled smart phone with the support of Dual SIM. The power house is consist of removable li-ion 2500 mAh battery.

QMobile Noir S6 Plus Unboxing:

The QMobile Noir S6 Plus has almost same box like Noir S6, both has same box colors and looks. The retail box has all necessary items in it that includes headphones, charger and data cable. Screen Protector is also available in the box via which we can protect the screen of Noir S6 Plus.

Display of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

The QMobile Noir S6 Plus is 5.5 inch device with HD IPS LCD capacitive touch Screen. The supportive resolutions are 1280 x 720 pixels with 320 dpi. The dpi is average and it has satisfactory display.

The Graphic processing unity is Mali-400MP that use for graphics mainly and it maximize the battery life and minimize the heat dissipation.

Display performance is same like QMobile Noir s6 both have average color accuracy moreover the icons are clearly displayed. The touch panel is weaker than Noir S6 that’s why it scored only 2-points in multi-touch test while Noir S6 scored 5 points.

Design and Display of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

QMobile Noir S6 Plus has 5.5 inches screen with HD IPS display while the dimensions are 148.2 x 75.3 x 8.1 mm. Weight wise it is heavier device as compare to Noir S6 because its weight is 191 grams and Noir S6 is only 143 grams. Although both devices are packed with same Li-ion battery of 2500 mAh.

Let’s come to its design of front body in which first of all we have 5.5 inches screen size in which function keys are also enabled within in the screen. At top we have ear piece and front camera. It doesn’t have any LED notification light neither any front flash light.

The edges of Noir S6 Plus are not much filled with connectivity ports because it has removable back body. The right edge has volume keys and power button while left side has nothing on it. Audio jack and microUSB port are also available at the top side while we have nothing on down side.

The back body of Noir S6 Plus is removable and it has simple cover. Fingerprint authenticator and back camera with LED flash light are present on the top side of back cover. Logo of QMobile is also present in center while speakers are resided on the down side of back cover.

Memory for QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

The QMobile Noir S6 Plus has same memory feature like Noir S6 that means RAM is 2GB and ROM is 16 GB. The internal memory can be expand up to 128GB with the access of memory card. Memory card has separate place so you can use dual SIM and memory card at a same time. Internal memory can work better with memory card because 16GB is not enough for your applications, videos and games.

The 2GB RAM is satisfactory choice for medium kind of smart phones. As it’s others features are also medium kind of so RAM goes with them otherwise high level 3D games and multi-tasking will face some delays. We observed this smart phone for regular use and we haven’t got any delays and lags.

Camera within QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

The camera section has low features as compare to Noir S6. The back camera is available with only 8MP lens with LED flash light while in Noir S6 we have 13MP back camera so this is bad choice. Front camera in both versions are same that is 5MP. Let’s reveal the both cameras of QMobile Noir S6 Plus in detail.

Rear Camera of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

The Back camera is consist of 8MP lens with LED flash light and it is present at the back body of S6 Plus. The main features of back camera are beauty mode, panorama, gesture shots and HDR. It can record video in 1080p quality while time-lapse interval is also present in back camera video options.

Scene modes are night mode, sunset, party, portrait, landscape, night portrait, theater and many others. Color effects are also available such as mono, sepia, aqua, blackboard and whiteboard. We can adjust many settings of camera such as Geo-Tagging, exposure, white balance, anti-flicker and many others.

If we talk about the interface of camera section than it has same usual interface which comes in every QMobile smart phone. At top it has mode options while at right side it has option of flash light, HDR, gesture shot and camera switch. At down side it has video recording button and camera click button.

Let’s discuss the result of QMobile Noir S6 Plus which has very satisfactory results. The brightness and intake of images are very well moreover camera focus well in high lights while in low lights it has very normal results. Front Camera of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

Front Camera is mostly for selfie lovers and QMobile S6 Plus has 5MP front camera lens same like its previous version. It doesn’t have any flash light while the features available for front camera are beauty mode, HDR and normal mode.

Selfies camera has very satisfactory results and you will feel too much noise and dull colors in low light while in high lights it performs better. In day light it works very well and beauty camera doesn’t make much difference as compare to other smart phones. Network / Connectivity of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

QMobile Noir S6 Plus is 3G enabled smartphone and it lacks the connectivity of 4G network. It has some other connectivity’s such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM Radio. It has MediaTek chipset MT6580 so Wi-Fi supports b/g/n and Bluetooth version is 4.0.

The smart phone is dual SIM supportive and it supports micro SIM. The place for SIM is present inside the back cover and it has dual stand by means we can use both SIM at a same time.

Battery Performance of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

The power house of QMobile Noir S6 Plus has same specifications like QMobile Noir S6. Both smartphones consist of removable li-ion battery of 2500 mAh. It is present inside the back cover and 0.2A charger is available to charge it.

It will completely charge the device in more than 2 hours and battery will provide stand by time of 6-7 hours. Excessive use of 3G and games can reduce the battery very quickly and it doesn’t support fast charging.

Interface of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

QMobile Noir S6 Plus is 5.5 inch device with HD IPS display that runs latest android version 6.0(Marshmallow) on it. The supportive resolutions are 1280 x 720 pixels that goes well with the screen size. Overall the colors are very sharp and bright so it mesmerize its look.

The Lock screen has simple display in which date and time widgets are displayed in the center screen. The status bar of SIM, battery and Wi-Fi connectivity are visible at the top screen. We can unlock the screen via swipe up the screen moreoever microphone, camera and unlock buttons are present at the bottom side.

The main screen has weather widget with date and time are present at the top side moreover Google search bar is present at the top most. Applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns and main menu button is present in the middle of it.

Application Manager has simple white background in it and at top it has search bar via which we can directly search any application and access it. It has some bloat ware applications such as QAppStore, QMobileCare moreover skype, Facebook and WhatsApp are already installed on it. QAppStore contains its own applications like play store while QMobileCare is customer care application.

Processor of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

The system of QMobile Noir S6 Plus is mechanized with 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor while the chipset is Media Tek MT6580. This chipset is faster than any dual-core processor and it provides better multi-tasking and save battery life.

It has 2GB of RAM which is good choice for medium kind of smart phone. It works efficient in multi-tasking and we have not observed any kind of lags while playing games and using camera.

Antutu Benchmarking of QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

Antutu bechmarking has tested the QMobile Noir S6 Plus and it has scored 24589 points. It has got better score than QMobile Noir S6.

Vellamo Benchmarking for QMobile Noir S6 Plus:

Vellamo Benchmarking always conduct three tests to check the device efficiency by multi-core test, metal test and chrome browser test. It has scored 756 points in metal test, 1081 points in multi-core test and 1443 points in chrome browser test.

Conclusion:

QMobile Noir S6 Plus is upgraded version of QMobile Noir S6. The major difference is only back camera in which Noir S6 Plus has 8MP lens while Noir S6 has 13 MP back camera lens. Other than that it has 1.3 GHz processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The device design resembles with Infinix devices, mainly because of fingerprint authenticator design. The device is perfect for more than normal usage because it has good specifications and we have not observed any major disadvantage in it.
