However, this gives benefits to both the participants. Qualcomm Announces Bug Bounty Program in collaboration with HackerOne. It is the first of its kind program announced by Qualcomm.
If someone finds critical flaws in snapdragon chips and LTE modem, he will get $15,000. Not only the reward, Qualcomm can also provide a chance to work with it. Moreover, the hacker can either work for QTI Product Security or the CodeAuroraForum Hall of Fame.
Alex Gantman, vice president of engineering at Qualcomm Technologies, explains, new vulnerability rewards program:
