Realme has officially confirmed that it is ending its Realme UI software and will adopt Oppo’s ColorOS as its default user interface. From now on, new Realme phones will ship with ColorOS 17, and many existing devices will also receive the upgrade.

What to Expect from ColorOS 17

Realme has not yet announced when the rollout will begin or which device will receive the update first. It is also expected that Oppo smartphones will be the first to launch with ColorOS 17 before the update reaches Realme devices.

Users should not expect a major visual redesign, as Realme UI and ColorOS have shared the same software foundation for years. However, the switch is expected to bring new features, performance improvements, and some ColorOS-exclusive functions that were not previously available on Realme devices.
