Realme Narzo 100x Debuts With 8,000mAh Battery; Expected Price & Release Timeline in Pakistan

Realme has introduced the Narzo 100x 5G, expanding its value-oriented smartphone lineup with an unusually large 8,000mAh battery, a high-refresh-rate display, and 5G connectivity.

The smartphone is aimed at users who prioritize battery endurance, media consumption, and routine performance over premium cameras or flagship-level gaming. Its launch is also relevant for Pakistani consumers because Realme has previously released Narzo-series phones in the local market, including the Narzo 30 and Narzo 50i. However, the company has not yet confirmed whether the Narzo 100x will officially arrive in Pakistan.

The Narzo 100x is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset and runs Realme UI 7.0. The phone is available with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, while support for expandable storage is also included.

The chipset places the device in the entry-level to lower mid-range 5G segment. It should be capable of handling messaging, social media, video streaming, browsing, and light gaming, although buyers should not expect the same performance offered by more powerful mid-range processors.

Its main highlight is the 8,000mAh battery, which Realme says can deliver up to three days of use under suitable conditions. The device supports 45W wired charging, reverse wired charging, and bypass charging, which allows power to be supplied directly to the phone during gaming or other demanding tasks instead of continuously charging the battery.

Despite its large battery, the Narzo 100x measures 8.8mm in thickness. The final weight may still be noticeable because of the battery capacity, but the relatively slim profile could make it easier to handle than other endurance-focused smartphones.

The phone features a 6.81-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1,570 by 720 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The high refresh rate should make scrolling and interface animations appear smoother, although the HD+ resolution may not look particularly sharp on a screen of this size.

Realme says the Narzo 100x can provide consistent 60fps performance in supported games, although the company has not confirmed whether mobile games can fully use the display’s 144Hz refresh rate.

The camera system is led by a 50-megapixel rear sensor, accompanied by a secondary camera. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

The rear camera module also includes an AI Pulse Light with multiple colour and animation options. While this adds a distinctive visual element, the camera hardware itself appears focused on everyday photography rather than advanced imaging.

Other features include a 5,300mm² vapor chamber for thermal management, an IP65 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes, and MIL-STD-810H certification for added durability.

The screen is also designed to remain responsive when used with wet, oily, or gloved fingers, a practical feature for outdoor users and workers.

The Narzo 100x is offered in Flash Orange and Midnight Black. Its confirmed memory configurations include:

• 4GB RAM with 128GB storage
• 6GB RAM with 128GB storage
• 6GB RAM with 256GB storage

Expected price in Pakistan

Realme has not announced an official Pakistan price for the Narzo 100x.

Based on its specifications, positioning, and the typical local pricing of imported or officially distributed Realme phones, the Narzo 100x could be priced approximately as follows if introduced in Pakistan:

• 4GB/128GB: Rs59,999 to Rs64,999
• 6GB/128GB: Rs64,999 to Rs69,999
• 6GB/256GB: Rs69,999 to Rs74,999

These are editorial estimates rather than confirmed prices. The final cost would depend on currency movements, taxes, PTA-related charges, local assembly arrangements, and Realme’s official distribution strategy.

An official local launch could result in a lower and more competitive price than unofficial imported units, particularly if the phone is assembled or packaged locally.

Expected release timeline in Pakistan

The Narzo 100x has not yet appeared on Realme Pakistan’s official product lineup, and the company has not provided a local launch date.

However, because earlier Narzo smartphones were officially sold in Pakistan, a future release cannot be ruled out. If Realme decides to introduce the device locally, it could arrive during the third or fourth quarter of 2026.

Unofficial imported units may appear through online retailers before an official announcement, but buyers should verify PTA approval, warranty coverage, and after-sales support before purchasing such devices.

The Narzo 100x’s strongest attraction is clearly its battery. The combination of an 8,000mAh capacity, 45W charging, and reverse charging could make it suitable for users who spend long periods away from power outlets.

However, the HD+ display resolution, entry-level Dimensity 6300 chipset, and relatively basic camera setup mean it should not be viewed as a performance-focused or premium smartphone.

For Pakistani buyers, its overall value will depend largely on the official price. At a competitive price, it could appeal to students, delivery workers, travelers, and heavy social-media users seeking strong battery life. At a price closer to the upper end of the estimated range, it would face stronger competition from phones offering sharper displays, faster processors, and more capable cameras.
