Realme P4s 5G Confirmed for August 26 With 8,000mAh Battery

Realme has confirmed that the P4s 5G will launch in India on August 26. The new mid-range smartphone is set to focus heavily on battery life, display quality, performance, and durability.

The biggest highlight is its large 8,000mAh battery. Realme is also pairing it with 80W wired charging, which should help reduce the time needed to recharge such a large battery.

The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. Realme is also adding a HyperVision+ AI co-processor, although more details about its role are expected at launch.

The 8,000mAh battery is one of the main selling points of the Realme P4s. It should offer long endurance for users who spend a lot of time watching videos, playing games, browsing social media, or using mobile data.

For performance, Realme has confirmed the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra. The chipset should provide enough power for everyday apps, multitasking, and gaming in the mid-range segment.

On the back, the phone will have a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization. OIS can help reduce camera shake and improve photos and videos, particularly in low-light conditions.

There will also be an 8MP ultrawide camera. While it adds flexibility for wider shots, the relatively low resolution suggests that the main camera will remain the better option for photography.

IP69 Protection

Another notable feature is the IP69 rating. This level of protection against water and dust is still uncommon among mid-range smartphones.

However, IP69 should not simply be viewed as a replacement for IP68. The ratings cover different types of water exposure. IP69 focuses on resistance to high-pressure and high-temperature water jets, while IP68 is associated with protection against immersion.

Realme has not yet made it clear whether the P4s also has an IP68 certification, so buyers will need to check the final specifications after launch.

Realme has confirmed that the P4s 5G will launch in India on August 26 at 12 PM local time. However, the company has not revealed the price yet.

RAM and storage configurations are also yet to be confirmed. The phone’s dimensions and weight have not been fully revealed either.
