Redmi 17C 5G Resurfaces in Retail Listing, Revealing Full Specs Ahead of Expected Pakistan Launch

Nearly three weeks after the Redmi 17C 5G was spotted on Geekbench, Xiaomi’s upcoming budget smartphone has surfaced again. This time, a premature European retail listing has revealed nearly its entire specification sheet and color options.

The earlier Geekbench appearance had already pointed towards MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset and provided an early indication of the phone’s performance. The latest listing, reportedly originating from Luxembourg, now fills in most of the remaining gaps, suggesting that the Redmi 17C 5G could be moving closer to an official global release.

According to the listing, the handset will feature 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot supporting up to 1TB of additional storage. It is expected to run Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3.

The Redmi 17C 5G is built around a large 6.9-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display uses a traditional notch housing an 8MP selfie camera, rather than a punch-hole design.

At the back, Xiaomi is reportedly using a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. Battery capacity stands at 6,000mAh, although the retailer did not disclose the supported charging speed. Other listed features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.4. Black, brown, and purple color options were also shown in the listing. The reported specifications broadly reinforce details that have emerged through recent leaks.

For Pakistan, the latest development is particularly relevant because the European listing suggests Xiaomi is preparing the Redmi 17C 5G for international markets rather than keeping it limited to China. However, there is still no official confirmation of a Pakistan launch or local price.

In our earlier report following the Geekbench appearance, we estimated that the Redmi 17C 5G could arrive in Pakistan at around Rs 44,999 to Rs 50,000 for the base variant, depending on Xiaomi’s local configuration, taxes and launch strategy. With the latest listing pointing specifically to a 4GB+128GB model, that price range remains a reasonable early estimate rather than an official figure.

The Redmi 17C 5G would likely target buyers looking for relatively affordable access to 5G connectivity, with its Dimensity 6300 chipset, 120Hz display and large battery serving as its main selling points. The 4GB RAM, however, could prove restrictive for heavier multitasking and gaming.

Xiaomi has yet to announce a formal launch date. But with the device first appearing on Geekbench and now showing up in a retail database with detailed specifications and renders, the Redmi 17C 5G appears to be progressing towards commercial availability.
